I have had a very colourful working career wearing many hats!
I started my career in the early 90’s as a professional singer and entertainer on Hayman Island Resort. I also then preformed and lived in Italy and came back to work full time doing live Theatre.
In 2000 I moved to Melbourne and started a sales career in a boutique advertising agency as Sales Manager. With a passion in hospitality, I took no small steps and bought a large 120-seater Café in the heart of the busy South Melbourne precinct. With a portfolio of achievements that span almost a decade, I have added a catering arm to business and redefined the local hospitality industry across South Melbourne’s landscape, with an annual turnover of 1.2million.
Combining my sales expertise and hands-on leadership skills with a strong customer focus and flair for business development has enabled me to transform from businesses owners to work for a large Hospitality Company as a Sales Manager. I managed a sales team in Vic & NSW selling a portfolio of venue spaces for corporate events such AFL B&F Balls, Exhibitions, Melbourne Fashion Festival and catering to major events such as the Victoria Racing Carnival and Australian Grand Prix. I was proud of overachieving KPI’s of 6 million for my dedicated career.
My excellent communication and interpersonal skills have played a key role in my success building and leveraging effective and collaborative business relationships with staff, customers and other key stakeholders. As a result, I have access to a strong network of key stakeholders in a range of sectors. I am a progressive thinker, who continues to inspire and develop new innovative hospitality ventures whilst generously supporting the industry and community with a range of philanthropic initiatives. I am now so excited once again be starting a new chapter in my life working at NB Lawyers!
